This cute penguin seems very hesitant to take a dive into the water. Penguins are typically diving birds who find much of their food along shallow coastlines. The length and depth of a penguin dive depends on how far the food source is located. Most penguins do not dive very deep, but king and emperor penguins (about 12 kg and 30 kg, respectively) have been known to dive to depths of 204 and 534 meters for as long as 7.5 and 15.8 minutes, respectively.
