Scientists have created Crazyflie, a little 19-gram quadcopter. It features a 2.4 GHz radio chip from Nordic Semiconductors. The quadcopter is lifted and propelled by four rotors, which helps it manage torque-induced control issues. The Crazyflie can ascend vertically very quickly. It also remains fairly stable in flight even when threatened by the wind from a fan.
