|

|
A town located on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, has been covered with sea foam reaching up to 9 (3 meters) feet in some areas. Winds from a tropical cyclone whipped up the sea and blew the foam inland in the beach town of Maroochydore. Sea foam can form when dissolved organic matter (such as dead algae) is churned up from strong winds and powerful waves.
