Neil Armstrong Describes What the Sky Looks Like From the Moon [Video]
The first man on the moon recounts his view of the heavens from the lunar surface in this rare interview with the BBC. Armstrong, an Apollo 11 astronaut, will always be remembered for taking the first "small step" by a human onto the lunar surface in July of 1969. He and fellow astronaut Buzz Aldrin remained on the lunar surface for more than 2 hours exploring while the third crew member, Michael Collins, remained in orbit in the Command Module. Armstrong died on Aug. 25, 2012, at the age of 82 due to complications from blocked arteries near his heart.
