Spotted Eagle Rays can be seen in this BBC video clip swimming in waters near the Galapagos islands. The rays eat mollusks and crustaceans found in the soil near the volcanic rock on the sea floor. The rays have flat bodies with large fins and a duck bill shaped head. They are found in warm temperate waters worldwide. Numerous nervous Galapagos garden eels can also be seen in the clip. The large size of the rays frighten the smaller garden eels.
