Fun Video: Hexapod Robot Dances
Norwegian robot builder Kåre “Zenta” Halvorsen has created a robot called MorpHex that can dance, move and turn itself into a sphere-shaped ball.
MorpHex starts out looking like a spherical ball and then expands into a sex-legged walking machine. The robot is made up of 12 panels with the bottom six forming the legs. The legs can move independently and appear to dance in the video. The robot can transform itself into a hexapod and walk around, dance, and interact with its environment, then retract itself into an almost completely closed sphere.
